Just other info: if I run Word/Excel with Printer Spooler disabled, and then starts it, Word/Excel start to not respond anymore

I haven't the oportunity yet of trying to print anything random (like a PDF file or something), because I'm not having acess to printers this moment. I've already tried reinstalling Print Spooler using third-app and erased all the default printers that came along with my PC, but it still interferes with Word and Excel (but Powerpoint and Onenote works normally) Now I could successfully unstall and reinstall Office, but doing this still did not fix the issue. It was a really nightmare actually.Īfter 2 days of hard searching, I got lucky and managed to find out that if I stop the process Print Spooler on Services, Word (and Excel) instantly opens, but I couldn't use printers obviously. I tried unstalling and reinstalling, but both process were always not completed (getting stuck in some step of the process), as said before. Powerpoint and OneNote opened normally, but World and Excel just keep "starting" forever, like in this screen: The instalation process got stuck in 95%, but the products were installed anyway. Lastly, You can right click Outlook icon in the tray, while holding CTRL, and choose Test Email Auto-Configuration, this can sometimes help with finding a failing endpoint or other connectivity issue.I acquired Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016, which brings along World, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote. In most of these cases having access to exchange server logs, at bare minimum, is crucial. This will help figure out where the problem lies.

Check if the symptom happens on Person X's Outlook. Then share the calendar with a new person X, try even higher, or different permissions. May as well remove and re-add the permissions at this level. You can share calendars directly between people, go to the person's calendar which is causing the freezing, right click > properties and check permissions. This could be checked with Event Viewer client and server side. Either it is timing out getting the permissions or it IS getting a denied error, and a symptom is the long wait. I would check with Outlook 2013, if possible.īut if this is on ALL clients, it's more than likely a server side issue. This happens on all three calendars that our users have Editor permissions to.Īlso, unfortunately, I myself do not manage the Exchange server, however, the ones who do have confirmed I definitely have Editor permissions to all three calendars. Do you want to ask to share his or her Calendar with you?".

I did see what would happen if I chose to "wait for Outlook to respond" and eventually it did become unstuck, and presented with an error message saying: "You do not have permission to view this calendar.

I've read a lot of information on the internet, and have tried the following solutions: When double clicking on any event, Outlook freezes and eventually Windows pops up to say it is not responding. It happens only with our "meeting room" calendars. Got a pretty frustrating issue with Outlook that I've been trying to diagnose for a while now.
